Standard Coaching

Standard Coaching plans start at $100 per month with a 3 month minimum commitment plus a one-time initial consultation fee of $50.  This level of service is designed for the budget conscious athlete who wants some degree of customization in their training schedule to help balance their training with work and personal obligations.  Each workout is tailored to the athlete's individual fitness level and an emphasis is placed of improving sport specific limiters that are keeping them from reaching their full potential.  The initial consultation peers into an athlete's background to determine current fitness levels and looks at setting short and long term goals.  Below is an overview of what the Standard Coaching Plan offers:

 

Initial Consultation: $50.00

This consultation is preferably done in person, but can be conducted via phone and is based upon the answers given from the Standard Coaching Athlete Questionnaire.  To download the questionnaire please click here.  The consult typically takes about 60-75' and covers the following:

  • Athletic History Analysis
  • Current Health Assessment
  • Determining Sport Specific Limiters
  • Short & Long Term Goal Setting
  • Race Analysis
  • Training/Racing Nutrition Analysis
  • Personal/Work/Family Schedule Discussion
  • Optional Cycling, Non-Invasive Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (and/or Power) Test with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis: $75.00
  • Optional Comprehensive Bike Fit with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis: $100.00

 

Standard Coaching Plan: $100.00/Month (3 month minimum) + Initial Consultation

The Standard Coaching Plan offers athletes the following:

  • Custom Training Plan Based on an Athlete's Current Fitness and Experience Level
  • Training Zones Based on Perceived Exertion (Optional Heart Rate/Power Zones are Available)
  • Monthly Training Schedule Analysis and Alterations if Necessary
  • Detailed Monthly Training Plan Delivered via Microsoft Word.doc File
  • Unlimited Email Access with your Coach
  • Weekly Phone Update with your Coach (Athlete Initiated)
  • Optional Group Workouts (Available in the San Francisco Bay Area Only)

Premium Coaching

The Premium Coaching Package is the most popular service offered by Kinney Multisport.  These plans begin at $150/Month with a 3 month minimum  commitment plus a one-time initial consultation fee of $125.  Each athlete receives a fully customized training schedule that is based on results from cycling and running field tests and the discussion of the responses to the Athlete Questionnaire at the comprehensive initial consultation.  This level of coaching service allows for additional athlete/coach interaction, which is important for those individuals wanting to perform at their very best.

 

Initial Consultation: $125.00

The comprehensive initial consultation that accompanies any Premium Level Coaching service takes approximately 3 hours to complete and consists of the following:

  • Athletic History Analysis
  • Current Health Assessment
  • Determining Sport Specific Limiters
  • Short & Long Term Goal Setting
  • Personal/Work/Family Schedule Discussion
  • Race Analysis
  • Equipment Analysis
  • Nutritional Analysis & Recommendations for Training and Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Cycling, Non-Invasive Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (and/or Power) Test with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis
  • Optional Running Lactate Threshold Testing: $60.00
  • Optional Comprehensive Bike Fit with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis: $100.00

  • Fully Customized Training Schedule with Heart rate and/or Power Specific Training Zones
  • Swim Workouts Based on Individual Marker Set Results
  • Each Workout Schedule is Designed Around an Athlete's Availability to Commit to Training Each Week
  • Weekly Schedule Analysis and Alteration if Necessary
  • Unlimited Email and Phone Contact with your Coach
  • Key Race Nutrition/Hydration Plan Consultation
  • Key Race Strategy/Planning Consultation
  • Personal Workoutlog.com Account* with Online Training Tools
  • Daily Workouts are Available Online at Workoutlog.com and are Emailed on a Daily Basis to your Computer, PDA or Email Enabled Cell Phone

Private Coaching

Private Coaching is the ultimate in services provided by Kinney Multisport.  Ideal for very busy executives and individuals, this coaching plan gives each athlete daily access to alterations in their fully customized training schedule.  In addition, Private Coaching clients receive bi-weekly personal training sessions with their coach to work on sport specif techniques, to obtain direct and instant feedback and to help with motivation for getting through some of the more difficult workouts.

 

Initial Consultation: $175.00

The comprehensive initial consultation that accompanies any Private Level Coaching service takes approximately 4 hours to complete and consists of the following:

  • Athletic History Analysis
  • Current Health Assessment
  • Determining Sport Specific Limiters
  • Short & Long Term Goal Setting
  • Personal/Work/Family Schedule Discussion
  • Race Analysis
  • Equipment Analysis
  • Nutritional Analysis & Recommendations for Training and Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Cycling, Non-Invasive Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (and/or Power) Test with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis
  • Comprehensive Bike Fit with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis

  • Bi-Monthly Cycling Non-Invasive Lactate Threshold Test with Heart Rate and Power Data (SF Bay Area Athletes Only)
  • Weekly Heart Rate and/or Power File Analysis of Key Workouts
  • Monthly Training/Race Day Nutrition Analysis/Planning
  • Bi-Annual Comprehensive Nutritional Analysis (Requires Athlete to Keep a Food Journal)
  • Race Strategy/Planning Consultation
  • Comprehensive Bike Fitting with Computerized Pedal Stroke Analysis (SF Bay Area Athletes Only)
  • Personal Workoutlog.com Account* with Online Training Tools

*A workoutlog.com account is a web based training log that serves as your means of obtaining your daily workouts in detail by visiting the site or setting up email alerts linked to your computer or cell phone.  This website not only provides your trainings in clear detail, but also assists with tracking sport specific mileage and yardage.  In addition, workoutog.com allows you to input journal entries that will be reviewed by your coach and aids in determining progress and what specific workouts to prescribe for the next period of training.  Visit www.workoutlog.com for more information on this service.
