Triathlon Training

Training for a triathlon doesn't mean having to give up your life.  At Kinney Multisport we make sure that the important things in life, such as work, family and social life, are all properly prioritized.  This reduces the amount of stress for the athlete and, ultimately, promotes greater gains in fitness.  Whether you want a simple training plan, or a completely customized schedule with private coaching sessions, Kinney Multisport has a program for you.  We offer individual coaching for any event and group coaching for various triathlons throughout the summer and fall.

Triathlon is more than simply swimming, biking and running.  While you certainly must successfully complete each discipline, the physical effort required to perform at your very best must be metered appropriately for the given segment/race distance.  A properly designed training plan will allow you to determine, with input from your coach, how much effort you can sustain for a given distance.  Knowing your sustainable pace will allow you to achieve your best possible finish, regardless of the distance.

Triathlon is a sport that type A personalities tend to gravitate towards, but anyone can successfully complete an event provided they have the motivation to follow a well structured plan AND they poses the desire to complete their chosen event for themselves.  Kinney Multisport can provide you with the plans, motivation and guidance required to fulfill your athletic goals.
